We breed our Golden Retrievers for quality and sell our puppies only to families that will give them loving homes for life. Our puppies are pets that must live in your home when they arrive.
Please spay or neuter your pet at 18 to 24 months. If you want to keep your dog intact, discuss options with me. This dog has Limited AKC registration and is not for breeding; no litters from this dog are eligible for AKC registration.
The parties agree to this contract to buy one purebred AKC Golden Retriever. The breeder guarantees that the puppy is purebred and will provide AKC registration papers. The contract terms are designed to protect each dog, the breeder, and the buyer, preventing the abuse of the Golden Retriever breed through careless breeding.
The cost for a male or female puppy, which includes 7 weeks of care and training, is $3,200. A $500 deposit is required to hold your spot on the waiting list for your preferred gender. This deposit will be deducted from the total purchase price. Please be sure you're ready for a Muddy Golden before placing your deposit. Your deposit is only refundable if we can not provide you a puppy of your sex preference. Puppies must be fully paid by their 4th week birthday, and you will get a text reminder.
We work with families for our picking process, this is not a 1st come, 1st pick process. We test our puppies and do know their personalities for home preferences. We will ask you for your top 3 picks when the pups are 5 to 6 weeks old. We always try to choose one of your top 3 picks. We place hunting pups with hunting families, puppies that have the calmest nature will be placed with families that have 8 year and under children. If we have a call for a service dog, we will choose a very willing and focused pup for that buyer. We always take your preferences into consideration when placement time comes.
The buyer also agrees that the seller will select the pup out of this litter for you according to the primary purpose stated in your
application, texts and phone calls. We will talk about what your preferences are as far as personality, willingness and job performance you would like in your next golden retriever.

The 30-month guarantee applies if the dog has eaten the seller’s Lifes Abundance food from 3 weeks to 30 months. Some dog food brands can cause your puppy to grow too quickly or may not provide enough nutrition for puppies or adult dogs. Many store-bought brands contain harmful additives like BHA, Ethoxyquin, and Propylene Glycol, which are used as preservatives and in industrial processes. Other additives to be wary of include Aflatoxin, Red Dye, Butylated Hydroxyanisole, and Tertiary Butylhydroquinone. This is our concern with different brands, not all dog foods are created equal. We feel confident to provide you with a 30 month guarantee if you do feed Life’s Abundance because we know through years of raising newborns to adults this food is safe for life of your new family member. We care what happens to our litters that we produce for you. Life’s abundance has never had a recall, very few brands of food can say that. Other foods might be suitable during this growth phase, but in our 38 years of breeding Golden Retrievers and 14 years of using Life’s Abundance, we've had no growth problems. Our puppies grow and develop as they should. Many families who raise their golden retrievers on Life’s Abundance have seen great results. This brand supports healthy growth and prevents issues like ear infections and hotspots. Often, skin or ear problems in goldens are caused by toxins and allergens in their food.
In 2010, I signed up as a Life’s Abundance rep after seeing significant improvements in my litter's appearance, behavior, and overall health. After researching dog food brands, I was amazed by the difference and never went back to less quality food, which has benefited our breeding program and reduced vet costs. While I receive a small commission, there is no extra cost to you, as I pay the same for any of their products as you do. Life’s Abundance promotes its business through small business owners, and although it's not Walmart-level income, it helps me raise your pup on a food I believe is better for goldens. I feel at ease knowing you're caring for the pup we loved first. I worry about their wellness and diet after they go home. We just want them to thrive.
I never wanted a dog food to come between us as a dedicated breeder and you as the loving new pet parent of your adorable Golden Retriever puppy. If you truly have any concerns or questions about our 30-month guarantee, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your peace of mind is extremely important to us, and we want to ensure that you feel completely supported in this wonderful journey.
